MARINE FUEL

Kamarajar Port Limited – MARINE FUEL - Supplied by IOCL

The Bunkering operations of Kamarajar Port Limited is being carried out within the Port Limit for the vessels calling the port at Berth or at Anchorage. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a leading bunker fuels supplier in India, supplies 100% bunker requirement for the vessels calling the Kamarajar port limited. The Fuel Supplied by them are:

Residual Bunker Fuel

Very Low Sulphur (0.5%S) Fuel Oil (VLSFO) grade is produced in refineries from sweet crude oil grades complies with ISO 8217:2017 RMG380/180 standards and addresses the quality considerations raised by International Organization of Standardisation in its advisory document PAS 23263-2019 such as Flash Point, Cold Flow properties, Catfines and ignition quality. This fuel has better ignition quality and is expected to not emit excess black smoke.

Distillate Bunker Fuel

Low Sulphur (0.1%S) Marine Gas Oil (LSMGO) or High Flash High Speed Diesel (HFHSD) specifically formulated to meet Naval distillate standard MIL-DTL-16884M with winter specs cold flow roperties as well as enhanced ignition quality. It is offered at Chennai ports and meets ISO 8218:2017 DMA and bunker fuel norms of Emission Control Areas (ECA) standards as well.
